Discover the art of flameworking with our Intro to Boro class at Berlin Flameworking Studio. Learn the unique techniques of working with borosilicate glass and creating your very own stunning Autumn leaves this season and possibly more in this 6 hour session. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced flameworker, this class is designed to help you expand your skills and creativity. Our expert instructor will guide you through using the torch, tools, and this special type of glass, making it a perfect introduction to the world of flameworking. What You’ll Take Away from This Class: - Learning the Basics: Get hands-on with the fundamental techniques of working with borosilicate glass. - Torch & Tools: Learn to confidently operate the torch and handle specialized flameworking tools. - Sculpting Techniques: Learn and discover techniques to craft intricate glass sculptures. - Your Own Creation: Leave with a unique glass piece you’ve created yourself. - Studio Rental: Gain the skills to rent studio time and continue creating your own glass art. Maximum amount of participates: 4 per class * Class will be taught in English The studio is located on Provinzstraße 42a. It is a large factory complex, and the studio building is situated behind the very large brick building (the largest building) on the site. If you come with a car, you are welcome to drive in and park directly at the studio. Entrance door is in the back, follow the signs and meet upstairs.
